Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held at 1:00P.M. Saturday June 9, 2018 at Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, IL. Burial will follow in Oblong Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. till service time at the funeral home.

Cleo F. “Pat” Floyd, 86, of Robinson, IL formerly of Oblong went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday June 3, 2018 at the Magnolia Center in Robinson, IL.
Cleo was born in Crawford County, IL on March 6, 1932 to William Newman and Angeline (Stifle) Newman. On November 10, 1950 she married Donald Floyd who preceded her in death on December 12, 1999.
She had worked at Crawford Electronics for 10 years, Victor Dana for 1 year, the Coffee Shop in Robinson, IL and baby sat for many families in the area. She was a member of the Oblong High School Class of 1950 and the New Hebron Baptist Church. She had also attended Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Robinson, IL and Porterville Congregational Christian Church in Porterville, IL. In her early adult life she belonged to the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Oblong where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school and Bible School. Cleo was a volunteer for the Easters Seals and Red Cross.
Cleo is survived by her adopted Daughter and Son-in-law Cindy and Kevin Maus, Oblong, IL; brother and sister-in-law Earl and Dale Newman, Salisbury, NC; three sisters and brother-in-law Betty Berry, Asheboro, NC, Nina McVay, Asheboro, NC, Mary Lou and Charles Powell, Port Richie, FL. She is also survived by adopted grandchildren Kody and Sarah Maus, Oblong, IL, Cody and Lacey Bliss, Oblong; adopted Great-Grandchildren Emerson, Everhett and Emmett Bliss and Neal Maus all of Oblong, IL along with several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two brothers John Newman and Ray Newman; one sister Barbara Forrester, half sister Theo Eschricle, half brothers Orville Stifle, Glen Stifle, Joy Newman and Albert Newman; sister-in-law Anna Mae Newman and brother-in-law John Bartlett.
